History

Caribbean Savouries Ltd is a dynamic food distribution company founded by Paul Scott. Paul grew up in Jamaica and has had years of international experience in the distribution and sale of food products and has also worked within the cold storage industry for several years.

Whilst living in New York, Paul was introduced to a range of patties that excited his taste buds and enthused his business mind. Upon returning to the UK he offered samples and taste-tests to his potential market including family and friends and the feedback was phenomenal; with people comparing the range to authentic Jamaican Patties. The feedback unsurprisingly encouraging with friends from Jamaica commenting:

“These are identical to the patties back home! “
“I have never tasted anything like this before in the UK before!”
“This is an authentic Jamaican patty, give me some more!"

With this enthusiastic response Caribbean Savouries Ltd was born.

Business with a social conscience

As part of its ongoing vision to make a difference Caribbean Savouries Ltd is proud to be associated with the brand Caribbean Food Delights who have been contributing to a number of grassroots projects and charitable programme's. Caribbean Food Delights recently donated a medical bus to the Jamaican government which provides medical and dental care throughout the island. Scholarships have been established by the company at the UWI for the island students who have proven that they can go to the next level.

A building has also been provided for women with HIV and other illnesses which provides accommodation them and medical care, this is run by Fr. Richard Holung.
Caribbean Savouries are also proud to be sponsors of the Noel Holmes Memorial Hospital and West Haven Children Home for vulnerable children across Jamaica, which is based in Hanover and provides much needed medical equipment to the hospital and home in Jamaica, the Jamaican High Commissioner His Excellency Hon. Burchell Whiteman is also the patron of this Charity.
